Job Title: PT Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Job type: Part Time

Rate: $19 - $21 per hour

Minimum of 2 years in restaurant management

Join our team as a full or part-time Floor Manager. James Provisions is a seasonal 80-seat restaurant in Hurst (DFW area). We're in search of someone with a passion for hospitality, sustainability, and seasonal dishes. Take charge of managing the flow of service, coordinating operations, and leading a high-level staff in a fast-paced environment. This role also involves overseeing seasonal wine, cocktail, and craft beer programs, managing flow of service, guest experiences and team dynamics. RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist on the floor or expo as needed

Manage the overall operations and flow of service in the restaurant

Lead and motivate a high-level staff to ensure exceptional customer service

Coordinate day-to-day activities and collaborate with various departments

Oversee seasonal wine, cocktail, and craft beer programs

Implement and maintain high standards of hospitality and sustainability

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Drive business growth through effective management strategies

Conduct liquor inventory

Provide daily mgmt reports to summarize service and sales

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management

Food Handler's Manager Certificate

Must have prior bar and floor manager experience

Working knowledge of wine, beer and spirits

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing teams

Passion for hospitality, sustainability, and seasonal culinary offerings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Familiarity with beverage program management

Ensure cleanly and secure open and closure of property

Advise of any building maintenance issues, and follow up as needed.

Weekly FOH/BOH meetings with restaurant leadership

Assist the General Manager in maximizing profitability while upholding brand standards

Managing Labor costs within targets set by ownership

Create and review tasteful upsell techniques

Complete quarterly inventory of all FOH related property

Work with GM to develop level steps of service

Effectively work with mgmt to manage reservations to maximize efficiency and profitability

Consistently provide an elevated dining experience to guest

Oversee Ticket Times

Touch Tables with longer wait times

Ensure team is executing steps of service up to set standards

Take an active role in wine service and education

Work with GM to create effective action plans to improve employee performance and growth

Oversee operations in compliance with legal and regulatory agency requirements

Assist with event oversight for off-site events as needed
